6 PhotoTapas Events You Won't Want to Miss in Metro Phoenix This Month
Now in its second year, PhotoTapas is taking over our state for the month of February, offering a nice diverse sampling from the Arizona photo community. This year, the series is being overseen by Art Intersection in Gilbert, but events also will be held in Tucson and across the metro Phoenix area.

This annual exhibition features the work of students and alumni who are members of the ASU Student Photographers Association (ASUSPA). University of Arizona Professor David Taylor met with students to review their portfolios and select the pieces for this exhibition.
We'll admit it -- we're total suckers for the Icehouse. Any exhibit in this incredible venue is a must-see. "En Mexico" will feature photography by Emily Matyas and Neal Winter.
Exploring the World Of Travel Photography: A Sense of Place presented by TEOE
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 8
This workshop is designed to help attendees improve their photography while traveling. There are five guest photographers slated to speak and all are experts in different aspects of travel photography. There is a participation fee of $99, and registration is available on the TEOE website.
