Consider your parade officially rained on.

Citing The Weather Channel's forecast of a 100 percent chance of rain in Phoenix on Saturday, March 1, organizers have canceled the fourth annual Downtown Phoenix Mardi Gras Parade and Festival.
But the news isn't all bad, Mardi party animals.
Scheduled indoor parties at various establishments in and near CityScape, the would-be hub of the parade and festival, will go on as planned.
Among the 11 downtown party spots to hit up throughout the day will be The Turf, which will offer $3 local brews, Gypsy Bar/Lucky Strike, where you'll find a photo booth with plenty of Mardi Gras-themed props, and Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails, which will mix up $9 classic hurricane cocktails and serve $9 chicken and sausage gumbo.
Grab your feathery mask, an umbrella, and party on. For a map of participating businesses, specials, and hours (which vary from bar to bar), visit www.facebook.com/downtownphoenixmardigras.
