Breaking Ground Contemporary Dance and Film Festival 2014 in Tempe
Performers from around the globe gathered at Tempe Center for the Arts for Breaking Ground Contemporary Dance and Film Festival 2014. Steampunk Ball at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, 1/23/14
Scottsdale Public Arts presented the Steampunk Ball on Thursday, January 23, at Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts. The scheduled program started with a Sketch and Snap event; A catwalk Fashion Parade, raffle, and live music from the Bad Cactus Brass Band also accompanied the evening. As a free event open to the general public, there was a colorful display of Steampunk characters dressed for the occasion.

Deep inside the bowels of the Monarch Theatre, some insidious and subterranean nocturnal dance shenanigans were afoot during the latest Fallout.Shelter this past weekend. The freaky and fetishistic industrial dance party took place deep underground on Saturday, January 25, in the basement of the downtown Phoenix venue and feature harsh and dark sounds like aggrotech and EBM being blasted by Self.Destrukt, KILLtheALEX, Mess &*Phetamine, and other creatures of the night.
