New Year's Eve 2013 Parties in Downtown Phoenix
Downtown Phoenix was replete with a slew of New Year's Eve parties, including spirited shindigs like the '70s-inspired Boogie Ball at FilmBar, a night of punk rock headlined by Scorpion vs. Tarantula at The Lost Leaf, and the hipster-meets-disco festivities at the Crescent Ballroom during Sean Watson's Amateur Night New Year's Eve.

First Friday Art Walk in Downtown Phoenix, 1/3/14
Phoenix's first First Friday Art Walk of 2014 got the year off to a great start by featuring some fantastic artists and vendors. The cooler weather rendered slightly smaller crowds; numerous enough for a good time with plenty of foot traffic, yet not populated to the point of frustration when trying to view the art.
