This free adult art event happening in conjunction with Luster Kaboom's "FunHouse" exhibition at Scottsdale Civic Center Library, will give guests the opportunity to sketch and photograph talented performers from the Circus School of Arizona as well as socialize with local artists Roy Wasson Valle (of Fuzzy Balls Apparel) and Daniel Funkhouser. A costume contest will be held for the best-dressed costume-themed guest, and a cash bar will be available for any artists in need of some liquid inspiration.

Adult Sketch and Snap Night will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts Atrium. For more information visit Scottsdale Public Art online.

Attendees can sketch or take pictures of the Circus School performers, in addition to dressing up for the costume contest, hanging out, and having a cocktail or two. It's an art-meets-social event.

Im confused: Is this a bona fide artist sketch/model activity? If so, why are there prizes for best costumed ? Is it a mixed crowd of artists and voyeurs? Isnt that what Axis/Radius et al is for?
