Top 5 Things to Do in Phoenix This Weekend
In search of weekend plans? Look no further. Here are your best bets for getting out and about in and around Phoenix.
"Scream Queens" After-party @ FilmBar
David Miller's photography exhibition "Scream Queens" explores via parody the stereotypical female characters found in horror and sci-fi films -- think femme fatale, helpless girl in the bathtub, lady terrified by gargantuan insects. You get the picture. Peep the images from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, the last day Miller's show is on view at Bokeh Gallery.
When the show wraps, head to the after-party at FilmBar, where retro movie trailers and music videos will screen as a supplement to the exhibition. The 21-and-over party runs from 9 to 10 p.m. Admission is free.
TBAG Rides the Tempe Artwalk @ Here on the Corner
Roll around to all the stops on Tempe's Final Friday map with TBAG (Tempe Bicycle Action Group) starting at 7:15 p.m. The bike crew will meet up at boutique Here on the Corner and proceed to hit up Rack 'Em Up, Sail Inn, and Handlebar to partake in their arts-centric haps. Participation is free.
