It's sort of an unspoken rule that you're never too old for bubbles, which is why the Scottsdale Art Festival is inviting everyone to participate in Baltimore artist, Scott Pennington's Pink and Blue Dilemma: The Foam Incident.

This interactive art installation features a pink and blue soap factory that overflows with water-based suds five times a day at 30-minute intervals. As 'technicians' clad in pink and blue attempt to contain the bubbles, visitors are invited to jump, splash, and more or less unleash their inner child in the mess.
The whole concept behind the participatory performance is a play on the necessity of work to humanity, with the foam itself representing fax industrial waste (but good luck explaining that to the little kid next to you).
Pennington's Pink and Blue Dilemma will be happening Friday through Sunday at the Scottsdale Arts Festival, happening at the Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts. For more information visit the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts online.
