Phoenix Fashion Week Hosts Fourth Annual MIM Rocks Fashion Show
If runway shows from Chanel, Saint Laurent, and Rodarte are any indication, looks like fall's big fashion trend will be 1990s rocker duds -- flannel, Doc Marten-esque boots, Courtney Love levels of manicured dishevelment, and all.

While the looks presented at Phoenix Fashion Week's fourth annual MIM Rocks Fashion at Musical Instrument Museum will skew more spring-friendly than Cobain-centric, the Friday, March 29, event will spotlight how music and fashion exchange inspiration.
In the mix will be garments from Seattle-based designer Bri Seeley, who was named Phoenix Fashion Week's 2012 designer of the year, and PFW 2012 emerging designer ENVY by Khanh, plus pieces from boutiques Amir's La Voûte, Divaz Boutique, and Clothes Minded.

Stylists Yeka Bruner, Amir Saebi of Amir's La Voûte, Fawn Cheng, Rochelle York, and Brian Swan will assemble the selected pieces into runway-ready ensembles. (Cheng and Swan styled for last year's event.) Smells like team spirit to us.
Doors open at 7 p.m., and each of the first 100 guests to arrive will receive a swag bag. DJ Q will soundtrack the show, which starts at 8:30 p.m. at 4725 East Mayo Boulevard. Standing room tickets are $15, general admission is $30, and front row seats cost $100. Save your spot at www.mimrocksfashion2013.eventbrite.com.
