In conjunction with the exhibition "MASHup: New Video Art," No Festival Required presents the documentary RiP!: A Remix Manifesto. The film explores the culture of mashups and the legality of sampling, borrowing, and building on the work of others. Check it out at SMoCA Lounge at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 21. Admission is $7.

Eating Alabama @ Arizona Science Center
As part of its ongoing Chew on This! Film & Lecture series, Arizona Science Center will present the documentary Eating Alabama, which chronicles the journey of a young couple looking to eat locally and seasonally yearround in Alabama. The free screening takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 23. Following the film will be a Q&A session with Maya Dailey from Maya's Farm and Natalie Morris from Good Food Allies.
