Oscar Night Costume Party at FilmBar, 2/24/13
Tears and cheers were in abundance, not to mention snazzy gowns and plenty of sequins, at FilmBar during the Oscar Night Costume Party on Sunday, February 24. Urbanites and film lovers dressed to the nine and dressed in dapper and elegant eveningwear while the 85th annual Academy Awards ceremony was screened at the downtown Phoenix art-house theatre.

Geek's Night Out in Tempe, 2/21/13

ASU Snow Party at Rocky Point Cantina, 2/21/13
Arizona got its share of crazy weather last Wednesday, but some snow stuck around for one more day at ASU's Snow Party at Rocky Point Cantina on Thursday, February 21. Girls in bikinis and bunny ears pranced around with guys in white T-shirts as Trapzillas and DJ Phyr Fox kept the beats going.

This ritual takes all year -- and every year, the work of putting together what's billed as one of the largest used book sales in the country is the same. Only the titles change.
