Three Calls for Artists: Modern Phoenix Expo, Tempe Public Art, and platFORM
platFORM is a project launched this year by Scottsdale Public Art. The program joined forces with the Tempe and Chandler public art programs with an aim to create opportunities for student artists and student artist teams to propose sculptures that will be installed in public places.
All students enrolled in an arts program at any Arizona university or college is eligible to apply before April 19. Eight proposals will be chosen and given a budget between $1,500 and $4,000 to create a sculpture to be installed on one of the sites equipped with concrete and metal pedestals.
