Contemporary Dance Festival, Breaking Ground 2013, Offers Two Masters Classes in Tempe This Month
Later this month, a three-day contemporary dance and film festival will take place at Tempe Center for the Arts.

>Breaking Ground 2013 Festival will feature three days of dance performances and films by choreographers and performers from Arizona and other states. As an added bonus, they'll also host two Masters classes at ASU Tempe campus and as well as an after-party with a meet-and-greet with the artists.

The festival begins on Thursday, January 24 with a student showcase at the ASU Studio Dance Theater and continues through Saturday, January 26 with professional showcases at Tempe Center for the Arts.
The Masters classes will be taught by choreographer Barbara Mahler and Eric Handman.

$10 per class or $15 for both
The after-party will take place at the Meat Market Garment Factory at 10 p.m. on Saturday and will feature live music, food and drinks. There will be a $5 cover charge.
