Make & Take Holiday Fiesta @ The Sagrado

Aries Spears @ Stand Up Live
In our pop culture-obsessed minds we like to dream up weird scenarios. For instance, what if Aries Spears, of MADtv fame, were related to one pop diva Britney Spears, she of ex-America's sweetheart and ... Baby One More Time note. However bizarro, we like the notion of the two somehow being intertwined, mainly because there's almost nothing we can think of that they have in common -- apart from sharing a last name. He is funny. She is not. She was a Mouseketeer. He was on The Boondoocks. Perhaps it would make for some funny stand-up material. We'll see if he taps our suggestion when the comic performs at 7 p.m. on Sunday at Stand Up Live. Tickets are $20.
