Every once in a while, scientists step out of the lab into Lawn Gnome Publishing for a segment they call Books and Beakers Science Cafe.

This free event covers all thought-provoking topics from religion to robots, and will return to Lawn Gnome Publishing on Tuesday, November 27 in a new installment called Professor Beer.

Dr. Dave Conz, who teaches Beer 402 at Arizona State University will be discussing beer fermentation and how that process relates to human evolution and survival.

The event will be moderated by T.K. Campo of T.K. and The Irresistibles, making sure no questions go unanswered and no jargon goes over heads.

For more details visit the Lawn Gnome Publishing Facebook Page. Who knows, the discussion could works its way across the street to Lost Leaf -- for purely scientific purposes.
