View Renderings and Weigh in on Future Projects by Scottsdale Public Art
If you missed one of Scottsdale's public meetings last week that gave community members an opportunity to weigh in on future public art projects, you now have until November 9 to toss in your five cents.

Two main projects in the works by Scottsdale Public Art are the Scottsdale Road Historical Happenstance Artworks and the Northsight Boulevard Extension Public Art -- and project coordinators are asking residents to help decide which concept is developed.

As part of the Scottsdale Road Historical Happenstance Artworks project, six works will be installed on Scottsdale Road between Roosevelt Street and Earl Drive to connect the area's history and community.
The project's artist Tad Savinar is looking for feedback from Scottsdale residents about " what the area means to residents from both a historical and current perspective." To participate in Savinar's project, visit Visit SpeakUpScottsdale-HistoricalHappenstance to answer a series of questions project coordinators say are designed to inspire the artworks.
The second project, Northsight Boulevard Extension Public Art, will extend the public pedestrian-friendly Northsight Boulevard from Hayden Road to Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard.
According to Scottsdale Public Art staff, artists Simon Donovan and Ben Olmstead working on the project is looking for feedback on its three preliminary concepts. Renderings are on view through www.SpeakUpScottsdale.com/Northsight.
