Phoenix Institute of Contemporary Art presents a panel discussion that will bring together artists who have participated in residencies, including Sue Chenoweth, Erin Sotak, and members of Los Angeles-based artist group Finishing School. Panelists will talk about their residency experiences and how residencies impacted their careers.
The free talk takes place at Modified Arts on Saturday at 2 p.m. in conjunction with the gallery's two current exhibitions: "Sue Chenoweth: Real and Applied" and "Residual Benefits: Artists Employing Residencies in Professional Practice." Refreshments will be provided.

Shear Genius finalist Ben Mollin hosts a hair throwdown at W Hotel Scottsdale on Sunday, featuring a salon runway show with cutting edge looks. NAHA Stylist of the Year Eli Mancha will serve as judge. Get a cut of the action starting at 5 p.m. Winners will be announced at 10. General admission is $10.

Shoppers will meet up at 10 a.m. at Orange Table and receive a list of clues hinting at where to stop and shop before wrapping up at 5th and Wine.
