10: Melinda Bergman
When we last put the spotlight on 100 creative forces in Phoenix, it was no secret there were more than 100 individuals who were making waves in the local arts community. So in celebration of our Best of Phoenix issue, we're profiling 100 more. Welcome (back) to 100 Creatives.
Melinda Bergman was born in San Diego and moved to Phoenix after living in Sweden for 25 years. ![]()
Melinda Bergman
Bergman is a staple in the local arts community. She's shown in galleries around the world and throughout metro Phoenix, including Modified Arts, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and Regular Gallery and she's taught art at the college level for years. Bergman paints, sculpts, and combines materials for installations -- she says she works with anything she can get her hands on.
