Hurricane Sandy, which hit the East Coast earlier today has been classified a "superstorm" by meteorologists (a technicality, not because it's less severe).

Weather is severe across the coastline, where flooding is widespread across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut -- and it's come with an additional flooding of photoshopped images and stills taken from doomsday movies that have been passed around as current images from the East Coast.

Here are the most ridiculous photos you've probably seen on social media ... that are not Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy.
