First, that seeming jumble of characters is pronounced "unique system."
Second, Powless' penchant for hip-hop and punk-influenced street style melded with Native American imagery and culture is more wearable than you might imagine. And it's a helluva lot more legit than, say, the Native-"inspired" ripoffs that Urban Outfitters tried to pass off as cutting edge fashion.

Powless will debut six new unisex designs on Saturday, March 31 at 16th Street's Por Vida Gallery.
But the multifaceted artist will be doing more than simply showcasing his latest shirts. He'll also have his latest fine art up on the gallery's walls, in addition to performing with his band, The Analog Sweat, which Up On The Sun described as "genre-proof instrumental walls of sound." Count us in.
The fashion portion of the evening will be a bit of a family affair as Powless' mother Wisdoma Lifewarrior and elder sister Endowna Endwarrior will also showcase their Native-inspired fashion.
Admission to the 9 p.m. event is free. See more details here.
