More Murals, Sunflowers, and Public Art Coming to Roosevelt Row Tomorrow Morning

More than 800 volunteers will be painting murals, landscaping lots, and building tables as part of a revitalization project and partnership between Citigroup, HandsOn Greater Phoenix, and Roosevelt Row.
Volunteers have been cutting ribbons and outlining community mural space, and local artists Laura Spalding Best, Carrie Marill, and Tara Logsdon will be painting large-scale scenes on the intersections of Second St. and Garfield, Second St. and Roosevelt, and Fourth St. and Roosevelt. Volunteer work will begin at 8 a.m. and finish around noon.
