You've heard them rumbling by on the street or have seen them taking over the thoroughfares.

We're talking about the multitude of motorcyclists, hawg-heads, and weekend warriors that have invaded local streets with their steel steeds over the past few days during the buildup to Arizona Bike Week.

While there have been plenty of pre-parties, rallies, and rides over the past several days leading up to the annual event -- which officially began yesterday and involved thousands of riders converging on WestWorld in North Scottsdale -- things will really kick into gear this weekend as bikers celebrate all things motorcycle-related at events all across the Valley until Sunday night.

Here's a rundown of several bars and locations where you can get your motor running and live high on the hawg over the next few days.

Brigget's Last Laugh
Dirty Dogg Saloon

North Scottsdale is pretty bereft of biker bars, save for this colorful joint that's frequented by hawg-lovers and hotties alike. In addition to offering Bike Week drink specials and giveaways will be offered every day, a "Happy Hour Dragon Punch Contest" will take place nightly until Friday and features bottles of Fireball cinnamon whiskey as prizes. Dirty Dogg will also present its annual "Spring Fling Party" on Saturday, which promises babes, bikes, beers, and bands like Psychobilly Rodeo and Forgotten Saints. A free shuttle will also transport patrons between the bar and WestWorld.

Brigett's Last Laugh
There always seems to be dozens of gleaming steel steeds parked outside this North Phoenix watering hole, which is popular with both bikers and neighborhood folk both for its wealth of drink specials and nightly karaoke sessions. Stop by on Thursday for $1.75 well drinks until 6 p.m., followed by $3.50 flavored vodka cocktails until closing time. Friday features $3 small domestic pitchers until 6 p.m., and Saturday offers $3.50 Bloody Marys. Meanwhile, Brigett's barkeeps will pour Jaeger, Crown Royal, and Washington Apple shots for $4 each starting at 6 p.m.

High Octane Lounge
While this Peoria establishment is a bit far removed from the rest of the Bike Week action, it's worth making the trip over to the West Valley on your steel steed on Friday night for the Riding Hard party being put on by Gweedo Productions. Five different local bands - including the rockers of Property Six, Hollow, Cactus Chainsaw, and Cartoon Lion - will perform during the evening while a variety of drink specials and giveaways will be offered. The fun starts at 8 p.m. Admission is $5.

OUTLAW BIKER TRASH
OUTLAW BIKER TRASH

Yea sure the HAs have nothing do to with AZ bike week. give the cheap jokes a rest. AZ bike week is run by 3 yuppie rubs = rich urban bikers 2 guys and 1 women from South Dakota not HAs from Arizona. the AZ bike week folks want nothing to do with dirty filthy 1%er bike gangs like the hells angels mc. az bike week is a family event not an outlaw biker event. if you want to meet and see the hells angels they have a booth set up at west world like the rest do and they also had one set up at the real biker bar the steel horse saloon at 19th ave and bell road on sunday. sonny barger was there with his brothers meeting folks. it was a bike show and bike swap meet with live rock bands. all the bars mentioned in this story are not biker bars but yuppie rub bars. the biker bar in phoenix is the STEEL HORSE SALOON at 19th ave and bell road on the north east corner behind the jack in the box. any where else is a fucking joke bar.

Actually there are a number of private clubs in the area run by and for bikers - THESE are the best biker bars and regularly host 100-200 bikers at a time on a Friday or Saturday night.  Don't let yourself get used to make some corporation or non-biker wannabee who owns some bar rich by buying overpriced drinks.  Join one of the dozens of private biker clubhouses (many let "guests" in) and have some fun.  Just check out the Arizona Liquor Department's website and search for private club licenses on their database - all there for the looking.  Many private clubs still allow smoking in the bars!!!!

Fake Fake Fake

LOL your 100% correct about a wannabee biker dress up party. look at the picture above of those fake dressed  up barbie doll chicks in leather chaps and goofy looking store bought doo rags on their heads. its to fucking hot in this desert to wear leather most of the year. give me a break! thats what rubs look like look in that picture. those are not biker broads they are posers and wannabees and barbie doll yuppie rubs not biker broads.

Arizona Drunk Week
Arizona Drunk Week

Maybe they should rename Arizona Bike week to Arizona Drunk week or Arizona Drunks on Bikes week. you give bikers a bad name by assuming they all drink alcohol then ride.  that make it worse for bikers when it come to piggys going after drunks on bikes after they leave the bar.

FUCK HD

Those are RUB bars not true biker bars your yapping about. your a RUB to or you would know better than to write shit like that.

I thought it was about bikes and riding bikes not sitting in a cheap smelly dive of a bar getting drunk. riding a bike and riding a bar stool are 2 different things. drunks ride bar stools and bikers ride bikes. life is to short to sit around  wasting your short time on this earth drinking and getting drunk thats a no where boring life. thats the loser addict lifestyle. there is nothing cool about getting drunk or being a drunk and then getting on a bike to ride it thats fucking stupid!

Gunning Them Down

90% of bike riders now days are hard working rich and poor clean cut bald short haired yuppies and RUBs and CONFORMIST they are not true bikers. the true 1960s and 70s biker culture started dieing off in the mid 1990s.  most real bikers from those real biker days are either dead or in prison or dead  or are to old and body broke down and finacially to poor to own or ride a biker anymore or they just quit riding all together and now days and out of those left overs only about 10% of bike riders out there are real true biker trash. the rest are nice yuppie clean cut nicey pooh do no wrong newbie riders 30 to 40+ years olds and over 50+ mid life crises posers who just started riding at 50 and they are all weekend warriors playing wannbee dress up bike bad ass in their stuipd looking uniforms with all the dumb corney patches sewn all over those lame looking leather vest they wear on the weekend. the biker world now days is nothing more than a weekend dress up halloween costume party for nerds dorks geeks  imposters and posers born  30 to 40 years to late to be the real thing. the true biker culture is dead! true bikers were non  conformist and still are if you can find any. biker chicks nowdays are all fake titted fake teeth fake nailed barbie dolls and the men are ken dolls. there is nothing bikeish about that at all. true bikers know who they are and we laugh at this new breed.
