Welcome to the Morning Buzz, a catch-up on interesting happenings around the city and country and a quick guide to what (and who) to keep your eyes on. We'll be here, first thing every weekday, to get you going. Here's what's buzzing this morning:
1. Wanted: 100+ Journals
Last year, Scottsdale Public Art's Kirsten Van Cleef passed out more than 100 blank journals designed by local artists to be drawn in, colored on, pasted on, and filled out as they were passed along. Now, project coordinators are on the lookout for those journals, which they'll feature in an art installation at the Scottsdale Public Library. If you have a journal, email email@example.com by February 1.
2. In Caffeine We Trust
The California-based (and caffeine addicted) designers at Column Five Media showcased their love for all things coffee in a neat analytic package for all to share. "In Caffeine We Trust" allows you to track your consumption data over the course of a month. Grab one here
and they'll toss in a half-pound of coffee.
