If you caught last month's Zócalo Public Square in Scottsdale and want a refresher -- or missed it and want to see what all the talk was about, tune into C-SPAN tonight at 10 p.m..

The discussion, held in the SMoCA Lounge in October, posed the question "Is Arizona the Front Line of American Politics?". New York Times Phoenix Correspondent Marc Lacey moderated the discourse between Art Hamilton, who spent 26 years in the state legislature, 18 of them as Democratic leader, Jennifer Steen, an assistant professor of Political Science at Arizona State University, and author Tom Zoellner, a fifth-generation Arizonan who recently penned, A Safeway in Arizona: What the Gabrielle Giffords Shooting Tells Us About the Grand Canyon State and Life in America

The three talked about news coverage and political discussion surrounding Arizona following SB1070 legislation and protests and the Gabrielle Giffords shooting, as well as gun laws, the immigration debate, and the future of a state that's been in the spotlight as a result of all of the above.

Zócalo Public Square is a project of the Center for Social Cohesion that brings journalists, speakers, politicians, and communities together to discuss in an open, non-partisan environment.

You can see the discussion, which was co-presented by Arizona State University, tonight at 10 p.m. on C-Span.
