On November 11, Ballet Arizona will reopen the doors of the old Walsh Brothers warehouse on Washington and 28th streets in Phoenix to celebrate its new home, a new season, and a new, Downtown audience.

Dancers and instructors, as well as fans and arts community members will host a party, dubbed Meet Me at the Barre, to introduce the new space and to discuss upcoming performances and the future of dance in the Valley.

The 40,000 sq ft building was purchased by the city last year with voter-approved bond issues and support from Phoenix's Community and Economic Development Department that have given both Ballet Arizona and the Arizona Opera new homes in the heart of the City.

The 21-and-up party, which kicks off at 8 p.m., will include refreshments from Downtown's Arrogant Butcher as well as cocktails, live music and, of course, plenty of dance.

Tickets, which include all food and drink are $35 for Ballet Barre members and $50 for non-members. Call 602.343.6520 or email nyounger@balletaz.org for more information.
