The pair will be hosting the Ice Cream Anti-Social at the vegan-friendly venue during the tonight's First Friday art walk, where root beer floats and other frozen treats will be sold.
With nighttime temps expected to be in the neighborhood of 90 degrees tonight, Hunt's hoping that the offer of ice cream will result in a large turnout for their "evening of audiovisual distractions" and artwork.
"This is going to be a bunch of insane artists coming together for a night of bizarre fun," Hunt says.
He adds that in addition to a few ice cream-themed paintings he created especially for the event, he'll be holding one of his signature "art hunts" (where he hides his work around a location for people to discover) at the Anti-Social. Six of Hunt's surrealist-style paintings will be stashed in and around Conspire for attendees to seek out.

Indie pop bands Peachcake, Future Loves Past, and Treasure Mammal are also scheduled to perform. A large-scale film installation by multimedia artist Shannon Dillon will also be on display at Conspire, although Hunt isn't exactly sure what it will entail. Dillon, who once projected films of bee attacks on large balloons at the Firehouse,
"He's planning something that will be a surprise for all of us," Hunt says. "It's definitely going to be large, whatever it is, thought-provoking, and entertaining, because that's his style."
The Ice Cream Anti-Social will take place starting at 7 p.m. tonight at Conspire, 901 North Fifth Street.
