"Ferdinand the Bull rests in a paradise of blossoms and tropical plants in this east courtyard. A sidewalk cafe adds an old-world touch to the advanced architectural styling." (Description found on the back of a postcard of a Christown Spectrum Mall postcard, dated 1963. Christown is celebrating its 50th anniversary in Phoenix this year.)

The countdown to Best of Phoenix continues! Last year, we profiled 100 Creatives who made a mark on the local arts scene. This year, we'll have 100 creative representations of Phoenix.  No scope or requirement on medium or size -- we'll include photography, painting, sculpture, video, installation, literary, and more.
