Technology, entertainment, and design -- if we told you those three words reflect the blueprint of the future, you'd think we're crazy. But technology, entertainment, and design make up the acronym TED, and as you Internet savvy folks already know, TED Talks are the future.

In 2009, TED created TEDx, a program designed to bring the TED experience to cities around the world combining pre-recorded TED Talks, and live presenters discussing varying issues prevalent in today's society, but having fun in the process (read Nardwuar the Human Serviette at TEDxVancouver).

The events are independently planned by the local community, and on November 11, TEDxPhoenix 2011 goes down at the Mesa Arts Center.

Check out speaker and ticket details after the jump...

The event will feature 10 speakers, including musician Michelle Blades, AMC News correspondent Jacob Soboroff, and toddler YouTube star Samuel Chelpka -- that's right, a toddler.

Chelpka catapulted to YouTube fame after his father posted a video of the 3-year old reciting the poetry of Bill Collins ... from memory.

We struggle remembering our favorite Dr. Seuss stories, let alone the work of a one-time United States Poet Laureate.

Well played, Chelpka.

TEDxPhoenix 2011 takes place on November 11 at the Mesa Arts Center. Tickets go on sale on Monday, August 1 and are $29.99 through August 11. Regular tickets prices are $39.99 after August 12. Check out a full list of the speakers here.
