Ivan Cash is a snail mail guy.
The San Francisco and Amsterdam-based artist and graphic designer launched his latest, month-long interactive art project with a simple promise: send him an email and an address and a handwritten note with the same message will be physically mailed anywhere in the world, free of charge.
Cash writes that his project "seeks to both share the warm-fuzzy feeling of receiving a personalized letter as well as inspire people to send their own snail mail ... In a culture overrun with instant gratification and on-demand services, this project cultivates appreciation for the lost art of letter writing."
Messages can be up to 100 words and can include an added doodle, flower petal, spray of perfume, or lip stick kiss.
