100: Steven Revering's Westward HoOne of the biggest struggles when relocating to the desert was what often felt like the lack of lush greenery here in the valley of the Sun. This thought or rather gripe turned lovingly positive when the often times 110 plus degrees disappeared with the sun and the cooler temperatures came out with the moon.
I became infatuated with the concept of trading flowers for stars.This painting literally speaks to that adaption to desert life. I love the desert nights and it is often times my favorite time to paint.
