Meredith Publishing Co. announced this morning that it is shutting down ReadyMade, the drool-worthy, bi-monthly design magazine once-dubbed the "Martha Stewart for 20-somethings."

ReadyMade, founded in 2001, was known for its witty content, genius design makeover suggestions, and ruthless dedication to everything DIY. No word on refunds for subscribers or when the last issue will be released.

In the meantime, if you spot a crafty-type in tears or a young creative with far too many supplies and no direction, you might want to let her know it's going to be OK.

I'm a 'sixty-something' and I've had a subscription to ReadyMade since I was a fifty something. I am very sorry to read this.
