Fragment (Consider Revising)

Paige Baker doesn't fit in online. Her blog, Fragment (Consider Revising), sounds more like the experiences of a hip 20- or 30-something and less like those of a 17-year-old girl wanting to talk bangs, indie music, and how much they love their BFFs.

She's been categorized by a few online fans as a member of The Juice Box Club, reserved for those under 21.

"Look,"I don't knit skinny jeans, or sell things on Etsy. I'm not that ironic, and I look nothing like Zooey Deschanel, but I love what I do and I intend to continue blogging for as long as I can get away with it."

Her blog is lively and well written, plus it's full of fun art, anecdotes, and about a million photos from last month's Arizona Blogger Meet Up.

She admits her blog isn't your typical kind of every day blog: "You'll find that most blogs have a lot of structure and a clear theme, whereas I tend to go all over the radar between posting about my new favorite artist, poems or short stories, happenings from my day-to-day life, and whatever else my fingers feel like writing out," she says.

We'll stick to her latest short story and book recommendation, ''All My Friends Are Dead," which she says made her laugh and cry in equal measure. Plus, it was the cheapest book in the store. Sensitivity and frugality? Not bad for a 17-year-old.

Visit Paige's blog and while you're at it, follow Jackalope Ranch on Facebook and Twitter.
