You better hurry.

Like stop reading this post and get to Cycle's website right now to snag a seat.

This Friday and Saturday, Chef Josh Hebert will be feeding 100 lucky guests his version of Japanese street food at pop-up shop Cycle

You know who Josh Hebert is, right? He's the chef and owner of Scottsdale's Posh. The acclaimed chef spent some time cooking in Tokyo before coming back to AZ. Apparently he learned a thing or two about ramen and if you hurry you might be able to grab a taste.

Phoenicians Lara Mulchay and Joel LaTondress helped celebrate the opening of the Mercado San Agustin in Tucson this weekend with brunch in the form of "HotDish in the Old Pueblo.

Cheeseaholic Mulchay (from Petit Fromage, whose Phoenix location closed in August last year) and web developer LaTondress are planning a business in the Biltmore/Arcadia area early next year. They're pals with Mercado's owner, so a weekend pop-up was a natural.

Saffron Kitchen Pops Up with a South African One-Night-Only Dinner

Categories: Pop Up Alert

If you frequent local farmers' markets, no doubt you've been tempted by Andrea White's sassy, swanky, sexy (can you tell we love her names?!) Saffron Kitchen pies.

Now White is presenting a one-night pop up dinner, Thursday, May 19, at Cycle, called "Ubuntu in Phoenix." The price is $35, and the food will be South African -- true to her roots.

White quotes Desmond Tutu on the meaning of Ubuntu: "the essence of being human. Ubuntu speaks particularly about the fact that you can't exist as a human being in isolation. It speaks about our interconnectedness."

White adds, "What better way to have Ubuntu than sharing a meal. Our guests will be seated at one table and be surrounded by South African music & candlelight."

If you happen to be in Tucson this weekend, you might want to stop by the Mercado San Agustin for "HotDish in the Old Pueblo," a pop-up venture by Phoenix's Lara Mulchay and Joel LaTondress.

You might remember Mulchay from Petite Fromage, her (sadly) now-defunct Phoenix cheese shop. The self-described "cheesemonger" promises "future retail cheese and charcuterie sales" will be a part of HotDish Enterprise -- her new joint venture with Joel LaTondress, a web developer who has worked on special events with many Valley chefs.
