With fall (finally) in the air, so are the aromas of two new brunch offerings from upscale restaurants Lon's at the Hermosa in Paradise Valley and Mastro's Steakhouse in North Scottsdale.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, and continuing every second Saturday of the month until April of next year, Lon's is adding an outdoor marketplace to its patio brunch. Called Brunch & Bazaar, the event invites brunch-biting guests to experience cooking demos and $5 tastings from chef Jeremy Pacheco, pastry chef Trevor Tucker, and cocktail guru Travis Nass. Local foodstuffs from purveyors such as Crow's Dairy and McClendon Farms will be available for purchase along with items from the restaurant's kitchen like housemade granola, herbal truffles, and Himalayan salt rocks.
