We all have our personal favorite at Cornish Pasty, but the Oggie is the O.G.

With more and more Cornish Pasty locations popping up around town, you have to figure that this English pub in flavor, metalhead hipster in style joint is doing something right. While the impressive selection of draft beer available in three sizes certainly doesn't hurt, it's definitely the pasty that keeps people coming back for more.

With about 40 different options to choose from, including vegan and vegetarian choices, flavors range from Indian tikka masala to homey mac and cheese and a classic shepherd's pie. There's even a dessert pasty with apples, cinnamon, and caramel.

If you're having trouble deciding which pasty to pick, start with the original: The Oggie. Steak, potatoes, onion, and rutabaga make this pasty a very hearty experience contained within a flaky, buttery pastry crust. The red wine gravy dipping sauce adds the perfect acidic element to the dish, but the restaurant is also ready with plenty of HP brown sauce, if that's more your style. You can even get the Oggie half-baked for $6 to take home and reheat there.

Depending on what location you go decide to attend. I am biased, however Mesa has never had any complaints to my knowledge

I have been there quite a few times and the service gets worse and worse . They tend to only hire the stupid stoner hipster types. You know the under achievers.
