The Pie Hole will open again!
That was quick.

Less than two months after closing its doors at 110 East Roosevelt Street, Tonya Saidi's The Pie Hole has found a new Central Phoenix spot to call home. The pie shop closed on June 10, at which time Saidi (a.k.a. Mamma Toldeo) said she was looking for a larger space for her operation.

The Pie Hole will take over a space at 2329 North Seventh Street. Most recently, the restaurant was occupied by Miss Anita's Pie Shop.

"It used to be a pie shop, so I thought It was going to be an easy move in," Saidi says, but she's found the space will actually need a bit of work. She plans to open by the end of August.

In addition to a selection of sweet pies, including favorites such as blueberry, strawberry, and cherry vanilla, Saidi has plans to add some new flavors to the mix.

"We're going to be adding savory pies," she says. "That's something we've been excited to roll out."

The new Pie Hole will also serve locally roasted coffee, espresso, and lattes.

While you're waiting for the new space, you can still get your Mamma Toledo's pie fix from the Mamma Toldeo's pie truck, which appears weekly at Food Truck Friday in downtown Phoenix. Saidi also is taking orders for whole pie delivery both online and by phone. Visit the Mamma Toldeo's website or call 602-332-7346.
