Is this Phoenix BBQ joint one of your favorites?
Although other places in the nation pridefully boast their barbecue prowess, one Phoenix restaurant is showing America what the Valley has to offer fans of smoked meat. Bobby Q was ranked among the top thirty BBQ joints in the nation by Open Table's Diners' Choice awards after about a decade of serving up great 'cue to Phoenicians.

After analyzing more than 5 million reviews of BBQ joints across the United States, Open Table awarded Bobby Q a spot on the best list, joining prolific restaurants like Dinosaur Bar-B-Que in New York and more. The Open Table awards looked at more than 19,000 restaurants across the country.

Bobby Q is known for its slow-cooked meats, roasted over almond and mesquite woods, and flavored with a secret blend of spices in the Bobby-Q dry rub. Owner Bob Sikora developed his cooking technique after ten years of researching master barbecuers from all over America. That research apparently paid off, as the restaurant was also recently ranked as the third best Metro Phoenix restaurant in 2014 by Trip Advisor.

But Bobby Q definitely isn't the only spot serving up great barbecue in the Valley. Which Phoenix BBQ restaurant is your favorite?

4PM = Cold, dry-ish...no management or other responsible individual to fix it - kitchen had to know better than to serve it, too. Food has been good later in the evening, but after being intentionally ripped off and ignored, who knows what to expect. Be sure to pay via credit card if you go (so you can protest if needed). After discovering TexAZ steakhouse, they havent missed a beat with us. Ever. And they reeeally care vs this place. Good luck...

Way over rated! Best BBQ in the valley is located in east Phoenix on 36th st between Broadway and Rossier called the Barbecue Company. No booze just great food. My favorite is the pulled pork Dynamite. (HOT)

Top 30 BBQ Spot that Takes OpenTable Reservations. What a complete joke.

That list is complete horse crap.

Not a single restaurant from Memphis (A&R is amazing!) not a single one from the Carolina's, and close to my heart not a single one for KC, I mean have they heard of Oklahoma Joe's or Arthur Bryant's for God's sake?!

The only reason people use open table is for reservations and if a restaurant doesn't sign up for open table they wouldn't even be considered. Bobby Q's may be good, hell all of these may be good, but "Best in America?" Try again Open Table.

Um, it is pretty obvious from the article, if you read it, that it is according to OpenTable users. NT wasn't trolling they were just aggregating.
