Healthy Chocolate Mousse: Low-Sugar Desserts That Won't Make You Want to Cheat

Chocolate mousse is one of my favorite, easiest go-to dinner-party desserts. It can be made ahead and is easy to dress up. Little do most people know, it is one of the simplest desserts to make, but this dairy-free, gluten-free, sugar-free version is so fast, and has only two ingredients (well, three, if you include some berries for garnish).
Perfect for your next potluck, or even a Tuesday night watching recorded episodes of Game of Thrones.

A rich, creamy pillow of airy chocolate, this dessert is simple and beautiful. Perfect for a dinner party (hello, make ahead!). Usually, chocolate mousse is laden with sugar, butter, eggs, and cream, this is a lighter sugar-free, dairy-free version.
2 cups of coconut milk, unsweetened
4 oz. 85 percent dark chocolate
Place chocolate into a mixing bowl. Heat coconut cream until small bubbles appear around the edges of the pot. Pour over the chocolate. Allow the mixture to sit for a few minutes then whisk the coconut milk and chocolate together. Place in the freezer for a couple hours until completely chilled and starting to freeze around the edge.
Whip the mixture until light and fluffy. Garnish with sliced fresh strawberries.
(Note: You can also chill your coconut milk first, and drain off the water (or use coconut cream) for a stiffer, richer mousse.)
