93. PBLT at Bootleggers
It didn't take long for Bootleggers in North Phoenix to become one of our favorite weekend lunch spots. And with a second location now open in Old Town Scottsdale, even more diners are able to experience the restaurant for themselves. We love the cozy, dark-but-welcoming atmosphere that goes oh-so well with the menu of hearty American fare.
There are few misses on the menu, but our go-to option has to be the PBLT. The sandwich features sizable hunks of smoked pork belly that prove the ingredient is anything but overrated. It's layered with beefsteak tomato, crispy iceberg lettuce, and red onions and sandwiched between two pieces of buttered, toasted sourdough bread.The cheery on top of it all is the spicy aioli, which adds just the right amount of heat to the mix.
When you throw in a glass (or three) of the housemade moonshine, you're in for a pretty perfect meal.
