Wednesday, May 7
Every year Joe's Real BBQ takes a day to thank customers for their support in the best way a restaurant can: by offering free food. This year that day is Wednesday, May 7 and during the day the restaurant expects to serve some 5,000 free meals. Customers can swing by for either a pulled pork or chicken breast sandwich with fresh homemade coleslaw, BBQ Pit Beans, and a drink. Children's sized sandwiches available for the little ones and only one meal will be allowed per person. During the day no other items will be available and you must be present -- no take out. Diners are also invited to bring canned food, fruit in particular, or boxes of cereal to donate to Open Arms Care Center. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m.
