Crudo's famous crispy pig ears.
There are plenty of reasons for food lovers to like the Arcadia neighborhood -- the central location, the ranch-style homes, the plentiful citrus trees, and, of course, the plethora of dining and drinking options.

There's no shortage of places to grab a bite or a cocktail in this Phoenix neighborhood and our list of the very best right now includes everything from one of the nation's best bars to a trendy new spot for burgers and more.

Crudo wins for both food and drinks.
Crudo

At Crudo, chef Cullen Campbell, who has cooked at the James Beard House in New York, creates modern Italian cuisine that's unlike anything else in this city. The restaurant specializes in raw seafood dishes called crudo and offers a nice selection of housemade cheeses. One of the restaurant's most popular dishes, the Crispy Pig Ears, can be enjoyed at the bar or as a side dish and makes for one of the more unique dining experiences around. The dish is a serving of fried strips of porky cartilage that get dressed up with olive oil and spicy pickled Fresno chiles. Oh, and don't dismiss the restaurant's charming bar, which was named one of the nation's best by Food & Wine magazine.

Love Jewel's Bakery & Cafe! I try to make their brunch every weekend.

Wow, I cant believe someone in these comments thinks Ingos is all hype.  I have been there twice now and I can easily say the Paris texas burger is the best burger I have ever had.  It was practically perfect in every way.

Also agree with the other comment about OHSO needing to step up their food game.  I love the place and go there at least 3 - 4 times a month.  Food is lacking but the place is awesome nonetheless.  I do like their small bites menu at night.  Those pretzel pieces are quite good.  Love riding bike there!

I disagree with the review for Ingo's Tasty Food. I think it is all hype. On the day I went with a friend, I ordered their fried potato chips because they looked pretty good on the guy's plate next to me. What I received was a plate of the bottom of the barrel fried potato bits and pieces. It was gross. The manager saw that I was disappointed and brought out a fresh plate of chips, kind of what they should have looked like in the first place. We ordered the Sangria and listened to the young waitress tell us how she made it. We didn't have the heart to tell her it was terrible. What can you expect from someone making sangria who is not old enough to taste it or drink it? The burgers were tasteless and thrown together very sloppily. I was thoroughly disgusted by the entire experience. I guess my facial expressions said it all because the manager on duty informed me that we did not look happy and gave us a $25 credit to come back. Although it was a nice touch for the manager to give us the credit, I will not be returning. One more thing, does Arcadia really need another burger joint?

Agree with the list with the exception of OHSO, they need to step up their food game. I would actually add Wally's to the list as well as Carmels.

Now we just need someone to realize we STILL don't have a good sushi joint in the hood...we'll gladly give sushi brokers to Tempe Marketplace and hope for a better option.

@jliven23  Totally agree. Driving to Hana isn't bad but I'd love something closer.
