Thursday, March 13

Every Thursday from 4 p.m. to midnight, guests can head to The Mix Up Bar at the Royal Palms for Bourbon and Burgers Thursdays. The weekly event means you can cash in on $8 signature burgers and half-price bourbon-based cocktails -- which also happen to be one of our favorite type of cocktails. The Mix Up Bar also offers Mix and Mingle every day from 4 to 7 p.m., which includes $5 drinks and small bites. For more information visit the Mix Up Bar website.

Morning Moonshine and some of the country's best doughnuts isn't a bad way to start the day.

DJ Fernandez's Vovomeena made Grub Street's list of Amazing American Doughnut Shops With Serious Street Cred last month. Now we're not entirely sure how Grub Street complied the list, but it did get us thinking about the CenPho spot. And we have to admit a bottle of its Morning Moonshine -- coffee distilled using the Japanese cold-brewing method -- and a doughnut doesn't sound like a bad way to start the day.
