This intense imperial porter is well worth the $3 we paid for it.

The Interior:
If you ask downtowners, you'll know Angels Trumpet got off to a bit of a bumpy start. However, the beer-focused bar quickly became a favorite spot to hang out and grab a craft pint, with the inside dining area, bar, and outside patio quickly filling up on weekend nights. You'll have a much easier time finding a place to sit during happy hour, luckily. If you choose to sit on the patio, you can even bring your pooch or play a game of cornhole while enjoying happy hour specials.

A filling flatbread for only $7 during happy hour.
The Food:
You have your choice of either a 10-inch sausage and onion or margherita flatbread for $7 during happy hour. At the server's recommendation, we went with the sausage and onion. Though the crust tasted floury and was chewier than we'd like, tthe spiced sausage and red onions made a nice flavor combo. The flatbread was generously topped with cheese and sausage and lightly topped with onions. The whole thing was filling and definitely worth the $7 price tag.
