The Strong Beer Festival will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, February 15. Tickets, which can be purchased online, cost $50 and get you a 4-ounce tasting glass and 15 tasting tickets. Last call will be at 4:45 p.m. Designated driver tickets are available for $10 and include non-alcoholic beverages.

Keep an eye on the Arizona Beer Week website for updates to the participants list. The event has sold out in the past, so if you want a chance to taste some of these hard-to-find brews, you'll want to act fast.

What a deal, so that works out to $10 per 12oz beer and that isn't considering that half the sample is foam from the above picture or the fact that you are waiting in line after having your 2.5 oz pour (foam).  Spending the whole time in line for $10 beers sounds like my kind of event

@Pass

You're not paying for the volume, but for the variety.  If you don't understand and value that, then I guess I won't have to stand in line behind you.

There are other considerations I won't go into, but I've never felt cheated.
