Cornish Pasty Co. in Scottsdale: Happy Hour Report Card

If you love beer in all shades and sizes, Cornish Pasty Co.'s the spot for you.
The Drink:
$1 off drafts is the name of the game during Cornish Pasty Co.'s happy hour. With an impressive tap list featuring a range of international, local and seasonal craft beers, it's a beer lover's dream. With three size options going all the way up to 32 ounce, you can have as much or as little as you'd like in your glass. We're partial to the 20 ounce Franziskaner hefeweizen, which is only $4 during happy hour and 4 ounces more than a traditional pint.

The Conclusion:
In terms of food, atmosphere and beer selection, the new Cornish Pasty Co. in Scottsdale is a great spot to hit up any time. However, you unfortunately can't expect to get discounts on food or specialty cocktails. While we were happy with everything we ordered and our overall experience, we had to mark the joint off for the slim offerings. This is the kind of place you should go for dinner or a cheaper beer during happy hour, but not for a full happy hour experience.

This place should get an "F" for its Happy Hour. I think the point of these stories (Happy Hour Report Card) is to grade a place's Happy Hour. Well, this one has a pretty non-existent Happy Hour so why give it a B-.  If this were a restaurant review, then yes, awesome food and good prices abound, A+ - but if you don't make an effort to have a real "happy hour" then grade it appropriately.

I hope the idiot who wrote this blog takes their "B-", & eats somewhere else, because I don't want to wait to be seated because they're taking up space in a place they don't love. The prices at Cornish Pasty are so reasonable for the portions & quality of food you get! Happy hour, or not! And where else are you going to fill up (on that quality of food) for a an appetizer, a main, & a beer for less than $20 bucks in Scottsdale?? The Scotch Egg is well worth $5 -if you see how much sausage is packed on there. (Of which they obviously didn't order) And why WOULD you want to fill up before you eat a pasty? That's why it's an appetizer! Get a new job, your review skillz suck.
