That's right. Even Gordan Ramsay couldn't resist going back for more crazy in the upcoming season of Kitchen Nightmares. According to Fox, the notoriously hard-ass chef will return to Crazy Amy's for the premiere of the sixth season of the show.

The episode, "Amy's Baking Company, Part Two," will be a follow-up to the shit-show season five finale in which Ramsay walked out on restaurant owners Amy and Samy Bouzaglo of Scottsdale's Amy's Baking Company. Hold on, everyone, we're sure it's going to be a batshit-crazy ride.

The original episode first aired on Friday, May 10 (it was also leaked early online) as the finale to the fifth season of Kitchen Nightmares. In it you get to watch Chef Ramsay try to wrestle the crazy out of the two restaurant owners, who do everything from verbally attack their customers to admit to taking their servers' tips. And of course from there things only got crazier.

The couple recently was named two of the worst bosses of the year by eBossWatch, an online career resource, who cited their "workplace bulliyng" as the duos main problem.

Check your cable guide for channel information and details about the upcoming show. Meow.

The food at ABC is actually quite delicious and they are very nice people in person. The media can make anybody look bad. It's called showbiz... They wouldn't have had a hit show if they portrayed reality.

How are people surprised? There are more comments on this single post than an entire week of Chow Bella articles combined. Those two weirdos move the needle!

Horrid black-hearted people, and terrible cooks at that. Really, we should just leave them be so their restaurant and business can DIE.

I don't know who disgusts me more: Amy and Sammy (because they're Amy and Sammy), New Times (for pandering to this pathetically played-out storyline), or myself, for chiming in and, once again, contributing to this sad conversation.

Why are these complete losers being glorified? Let their actions talk as they run their company into the ground. Why are we wasting our breath on these 2. Winning an award for being a horrible bully bosses, is a complete embarrassment. The fact that people still want to work there, let alone eat there is beyond me.

Not to go off topic Tommy, but I didn't choose to be employed as a  soldier or dine on MRE's, so there is no reason for me to have that experience. Same reason, I didn't choose to be screamed at by lunatics during a dining experience. More happened then what was shown on TV.

Let's see-what should I watch? A news story about Justin Bieber or the Kardashians' reality show or this crap about Amy? Hmmmm. Decisions decisions. How about none of them. People. Of course they're going back. They "smell" good ratings. I can't believe they're still open. How do they pay the rent? Who's eating there?

Stealing the Tips from the servers is a CRIME, and should be prosecuted.

It might be that if you eat there 48 hours before your colonoscopy you won't have the need for the expense prescribed stuff to clear your system, eh?

@lt.bert Perspective. That was my point and I think you got it. I will assume you had the opportunity at some point to throw down some cash to cover whatever you had and just walk out, yes? Were you aware of the cameras? I would think so...

@DonkeyHotay  baisically they get around that by telling the servers they are not tipped employees and they pay them minimum wage.

However, the customers probably don't suspect this and would stiff the owners if they knew that was who they were tipping.

DonkeyHotay
DonkeyHotay topcommenter

@teknik ... if the servers actually are paid minimum wage or higher.

But it's a FRAUD on the public customers to not inform them that any tips left will be confiscated by the owners.

@DonkeyHotay

So your answer is no, it's not Fraud to force servers to share tips with other servers.

Yes, it is in fact ILLEGAL in many states to force sub-minimum wage tipped employees to share/pool their tips with regular wage employees -- e.g. cooks, hostesses, -- or salaried employees -- e.g managers, owners, etc.

Once they begin stealing/diverting tips they lose the right to pay the sub-minimum waitress wage, and must pay full minimum.

The FRAUD on the public would be where a restaurant who pays full-minimum wage to waitstaff does not disclose to the public customers that any "tips" left will in reality be retained by the owners/management.

If the House is going to retain any "tips", then disclose that clearly to the customers who are leaving the $$ so they can make an informed decision.

Fact Sheet #15: Tipped Employees Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

Tip Pool: The requirement that an employee must retain all tips does not preclude a valid tip pooling or sharing arrangement among employees who customarily and regularly receive tips, such as waiters, waitresses, bellhops, counter personnel (who serve customers), bussers, and service bartenders. A valid tip pool may not include employees who do not customarily and regularly received tips, such as dishwashers, cooks, chefs, and janitors.

@DonkeyHotay @teknik

Is it fraud if the owners force the person you tipped to share it with all of the other servers?  Where is the line drawn?
