Old Town Scottsdale Farmers Market
Saturday, November 16

With a huge variety of colorful produce and just about every other type of vendor you can imagine, it's no wonder the Old Town Scottsdale Farmers Market is one of the busiest in the Valley. Last weekend, we headed out to take you on a visual tour of just what you can expect with the season in full swing. As always, we loved the fresh fruits and vegetables courtesy of McClendon's Selects, but also ogled products from Lillie Maes Blue Ribbon Pickles and Arizona Honey Market. See (and taste!) it all for yourself every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the city parking lot at the southeast corner of Brown and First streets.

Pie Social
Saturday, November 16

Pie is love at Chow Bella and Roosevelt Row's fourth annual Pie Social. We've got an all-star lineup of celebrity chefs this year and as always, you can get in on the action by bringing two of your own pies to submit to our community baker table. Do that and we'll give you five tasting tickets -- tickets will also be available for purchase, $10 for five. We'll have on-site T-shirt screening, music from Pick 'n Holler, square dancing, a food truck, an auction . . . and pie. Lots of pie. Pie Social 2013 will take place Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the "What Should Go Here" Pop Up Park at Second Street and Roosevelt.
