Just nine months after he opened Bink's Midtown, his top-notch bistro in Central Phoenix, James Beard Award finalist Kevin Binkley is planning to open Bink's Scottsdale in late December.

The fourth restaurant from the venerated chef will be located at the Shops at Hilton Village (6107 North Scottsdale Road), in the former home of Calistro Bistro. Binkley, along with his wife, Amy Binkley, also owns Binkley's Restaurant in Cave Creek and Café Bink in Carefree.

Binkley's newest restaurant will be similar in concept to Bink's Midtown and Café Bink: upscale casual and veggie-centric and with a menu of hot and cold dishes assembled with local and seasonal produce and pristine meats. Bink's Scottsdale also will provide a full bar with a regular wine list, as well as a reserve wine list.

Bink's Midtown chef Justin Olsen will be helming the kitchen.

"I love that so many of our regular customers live in this area," says Binkley. "We also have over 2,400 square feet of space, which allowed us to create a larger bar space to accommodate our customers."

Bink's Scottsdale will be open every day with brunch, lunch, happy hour, and dinner selections.

good for him. Actually never been invited in to try it or have even heard any comments about it from guest so as concierge I still can't recommend the restaurant. I hope he does well though.
