Hey Joe! food truck will be at the Taste of the Trucks event on Sunday.
It's a busy weekend for Valley food lovers. With a two-day food truck festival and plenty of Halloween-themed dining and drinking in the works, we're planning on hitting it hard. Here are the best things to put in your mouth this weekend.

A Taste of the Trucks
Saturday, October 26

Roosevelt Row and the Phoenix Street Food Coalition are back this fall with Taste of the Trucks, a two-day food truck fest. On Saturday, October 26, and Sunday, October 27, they're bringing 50 trucks (25 each day) to downtown for a celebration with live music and a beer and wine garden. Tickets to the event cost $20 for kids 5 to 12 and $35 for those 13 and older; for the super truck fans, two-day passes are available. Your ticket buys you all the samples you can eat -- or more likely, get your hands on -- so bring an empty stomach to 414 East Roosevelt Road, from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Call 602-772-0083 or visit the Taste of the Trucks website for more information. View the complete lineup of trucks here.

Don't worry, there will be real food to eat at Zombie Walk this year.
Zombie Eats
Saturday, October 26

This Saturday, zombies will take over downtown Phoenix for Zombie Walk 5, and though the undead have a nasty reputation for eating brains, there'll be plenty of other eats and drinks up for grabs. The Zombie Festival will kick off at 2 p.m. hosting vendors, music, and a Rose & Crown beer garden featuring Four Peaks plus sangria and eats from Crust Restaurants. And throughout the day, many of downtown's restaurants and bars will offer special zombie eats. At Brick Pizza and Wine Bar there's a $12 Carnivore Vampire Pizza and $4 Four Peaks drafts; $3 Zombie cocktails for all those dressed as zombies at Carly's Bistro, as well as Blood Bath Empanadas (pumpkin and apple filled empanadas with blood red raspberry sauce) at Tom's Tavern and 1929 Grill. For the complete list of special deals and dishes on the Zombie Walk website.
