Another weekend has passed us by but this week in Phoenix there are more than a few dining and drinking opportunities for midweek fun. Here are a some of the events we have on the books.

Monday Night Chef's Table with Four Peaks Brewery
Today

To kick off the week, ZuZu in Scottsdale is celebrating its favorite local brewery with a four-course menu designed around Four Peaks' award-winning brews. The menu includes Gouda & Caramelized Onion Tart, Crispy Duck Salad, Blackened Beef Short Rib, and Sour Cream Cheesecake. As for beers, you'll get to taste the classic 8th Street Ale, signature Kilt Lifter, Hop Knot IPA, and the Barrel Aged Sirius Black. If you haven't heard of the last one, it's an American Double/Imperial Stout. The dinner costs $56 a person and reservations are required. Call 480-421-7997.

Other dining events this week:

Tuesday Night TV Dinner
Tuesday, September 17

There's no combination that rivals the classic All-American collision of dinner and television and at Downtown Phoenix's Angels Trumpet Ale House that means a gourmet combination of eats, brews and tube. Last week the menu offered Chicken Fried Steak, Smashed Potatoes, Honey Roasted Peas and Carrots, salad and Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie for just $7. Oh and you get a beer. Chef Xane Brody serves up a new menu each week so check the Angels Trumpet Ale House Facebook page for updates, and be confident that with 31 rotating taps there will be plenty of suds to try.
