Bombay Spice Grill Closing at Tatum & Shea, Reopening in New Paradise Valley Location
After five years, the company, which currently has Bombay Spice Grill locations in Chicago and Tempe, is closing its original Bombay Spice Grill & Wine off Tatum and Shea (think a full menu and table service) on Tuesday, August 20. It will re-open as the quick-service model Bombay Spice Grill, on Thursday, August 29, at 4720 East Cactus Road, outside the Paradise Valley Mall.
Here's what busy, health-conscious diners can expect.
Bombay Spice's menu features wraps, salads, hummus, and soups under 500 calories and includes gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian selections. Online ordering and delivery options are also available.
Our current location wasn't the most convenient -- we've been hidden amongst many shops and have been waiting for the lease to end," a Bombay Spice Grill representative tells me. "Our new location allows more street and foot traffic plus we're next to other quick service restaurants, which allows the community to have even more great food and beverage options in one place. We decided to go with the quick-service concept because of the wonderful reception we've had in Tempe and in Chicago."
The representative goes on to say JNK Concepts plans to open additional Bombay Spice Grills in the Phoenix area over the next several months but does not have any further details at this time.
